Therapy is a highly personal experience, and research consistently shows that the most important factor for successful therapy is the relationship between client and clinician. That's why I strive to create a space where you can bring all your emotions - the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Since receiving my MSW degree in 2018, I've had the opportunity to gain diverse professional experiences in community mental health, group practices, integrated medical and behavioral health, and private practice settings. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), a dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) informed approach, and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Individual Therapy
I may have an advanced degree, yet you know your experiences and are the expert on your own goals and needs. My aim is to guide you in your treatment - on your terms.

I see my role as an empowering force, helping you to cultivate the ability to advocate for your needs. Together, we'll build a collaborative partnership where your therapeutic needs are prioritized and your unhealthy thoughts take a back seat. Remember, you are the protagonist of your story - not your unhealthy thought patterns. Through the use of evidence-based practices, we'll nurture resilience and empower you to make lasting, healthy changes in your life
Trauma Therapy using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a trauma processing modality that uses bilateral brain stimulation to help your brain heal itself. When we experience trauma, those experiences may get stuck in your working memory. EMDR helps move the trauma into long term memory so that it interferes less with your daily functioning.
Our past experiences play a role in the way we walk through the world, yet it’s ultimately up to you how you want to live your life. EMDR is a tool to help you redefine your relationship with trauma
